Hi, I’m Cera — a teacher, a baker, and most importantly, a proud mom of three amazing daughters. Our days are full of learning, laughter, and just a little bit of flour in the air. At Oak & Ember Bakery, every treat is made with love and purpose in my home kitchen, where the sound of the mixer blends right into the rhythm of family life.

The Spark Behind the Bakery

Baking has long been my passion — a calming, creative outlet that filled our home with warmth. One of my daughters is autistic, and being her advocate has shaped so much of who I am. Her journey, our journey, has inspired me to embrace flexibility, connection, and creativity in all I do.

With the support of my loving husband and daughters (my best taste-testers), I decided to turn that passion into something more — a “sweet” little business that helps support our family while sharing homemade joy with others.

Why Oak & Ember?

The name reflects everything I value: Oak, for strength and rootedness in family — and Ember, for the quiet, glowing fire of passion that keeps us going. Every cookie, loaf, and brookie that leaves my kitchen carries that spirit.

My goal? To bring handcrafted, high-quality baked goods to our local community, filled not only with the best ingredients, but with real intention and care.
